Finding you an apprentice & sorting it all for free.
Interested?

We're building a FREE service that finds you an apprentice, does all the leg-work & takes away all the hassle. Would you be interested in this?

We want to bring trades and apprentice candidates together and make it all as easy as possible.

Were you an apprentice? Did someone give you that first
chance in your career? With this service you can help
someone, just as you were helped. For you it would be
hassle-free and because we are a charity, cost free as
well.

We just need to know whether you’re interested. Please

What is the training commitment?

Training durations and costs differ for each trade. Here’s how long qualification training takes for each trade and what the MAXIMUM training cost would be to you (which would be ZERO if you get a Levy donation). Off-the-job training (i.e. time at the college) must make up at least 20% of the apprentice’s normal working hours (paid hours excluding overtime) over the planned duration of the apprenticeship.

What would your costs be?

For the ‘finding, matching and sorting’ service, absolutely nothing. You would pay most of the wages (less the incentive grant of up to £4k a year) and possibly training costs, plus tools and equipment. But that’s it.

Why are we doing this?

Because the UK is in the middle of a huge skills crisis, because we want to help trades and because we want to help young people find skilled work.

What happens next?

When we’ve collected all the responses, we’ll come to back you. Make sure you let us know how we can contact you. But if you have an immediate need and you want to call us, you can do on 0115 697 7177
