Welcome from the Homeserve Foundation Team
Try A Trade
We’re working with 16 West Midlands schools to get a talented group of young people work-ready for a career in domestic trades and then we want to help them find apprenticeships and traineeships with local employers in summer/autumn 2022.
This is an amazing opportunity for trades businesses in the region – of whatever size – to get access to the tradespeople of the future.
Apprenticeship
matching service
Were you an apprentice? Did someone give you that first chance in your career? With this service you can help someone, just as you were helped. For you it would be hassle-free and because we are a charity, cost free as well. Would you be interested in this?
Supporting you, supporting your business.
We are the registered charity of HomeServe Plc and one of the reasons we exist is to help and encourage businesses in the home improvements & repairs sector to create the next generation of skilled tradespeople by employing apprentices. We know employing an apprentice is a big step and it may seem like a complicated process – but we’re here to help.
The benefits of employing an apprentice are clear and there are more financial incentives available than ever before. And when customer demand in the home improvement and repair sector is high and growing, an apprentice could make a huge impact for your business.
Real stories
Checkatrade member 64 Degrees Heating Ltd took advantage of the CAT & HomeServe Foundation scheme to provide support to pay for his apprentice’s training. Read owner Matt’s story here.
