HomeServe Foundation welcomes Paragon as its first strategic partner

The HomeServe Foundation, the not-for-profit arm of home repairs and improvements company HomeServe Plc, has announced that Paragon Customer Communications, one of Europe’s leading providers of end-to-end omnichannel services for marketing, transactional, operational and workplace solutions, will become its first strategic partner.

The new partnership will see the HomeServe Foundation and Paragon work together on a number of key initiatives to support the Foundation’s vision to increase the number of apprentices in the UK. Paragon leaders will join Helen Booth, director of the HomeServe Foundation in the House of Lords on Wednesday 10 February as the Foundation presents the findings of its first quarterly research report into UK domestic trades skills to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Apprenticeships.

Commenting on the partnership, Helen Booth said: “We’re really excited about working together with such a forward-looking and innovative organisation.

“The HomeServe Foundation and Paragon share the belief that investment in skills through apprenticeships is critical to the UK’s economic recovery. “Bringing together our experience, insight and a collective passion for skills through apprenticeships will enable us to have a significant and positive impact.”

The partnership between HomeServe and Paragon is expected to support a number of initiatives designed to bridge the UK’s skills gap and bring in the next generation of talent to the communications industry.

These initiatives include Paragon’s recently launched apprenticeship scheme, named Ignite, currently running at the Dagenham site, in support of other nationwide apprenticeship schemes. Following its launch, the business has exciting plans to develop Ignite into the company’s flagship apprentice scheme to create pathways for young, talented individuals to further their education, grow with the business, and gain government-recognised qualifications.
