Support an SME

Apprentice learning pipework

SMEs are on the frontline of the UK skills market.

Here at the Homeserve Foundation we aim to meet our flagship target of 25,000 new apprenticeship starts by 2023. We understand that supporting employers just like you is key in us reaching and achieving our goal. However, we believe that employers supporting other employers will make a huge difference to the trade and skills sector when it comes to training and employing apprentices.

How you can help other businesses

With that in mind we are looking for employers to support other employers as mentors and with relevant advice through our forum. If you are interested in becoming a mentor you can register an account for free and contact us via the form below.

More info

Flexi-job apprenticeship will allow agencies to be the apprentice’s employer for the duration of their apprenticeship while placing the apprentice with other host employers for short term placements. This will enable apprentices to move between businesses as they complete their apprenticeship, while remaining employed throughout by the agency.
